All straps here are curved ended, cut to follow the specific case geometry of the Explorer II rather than a standard flat profile. FKM Vulcanized Straps for Rolex Explorer II
Standard rubber and FKM Vulcanized are both rubber, but the material behaves differently. Standard rubber comes in more colors and starts at €76. FKM is denser, UV-resistant and hypoallergenic. It compresses less under heat and holds its shape longer with daily wear, from €140. Worth the extra cost if the watch rarely comes off your wrist. Standard rubber is the better choice if you swap straps often.
