Rolex Air-King straps

Rubber straps for the Rolex Air-King 40mm, both the 116900 discontinued in 2022 and the current 126900. Curved-end rubber from €76.50, or FKM Vulcanized with the Rolex Deployant from €140. Two lug widths (20mm and 21mm) split by generation, so the strap has to match the reference.

Which 40mm Air-King do you have?

The 40mm Air-King has two generations that need different straps.

The 116900 (2016-2022) uses 20mm lugs. It takes the 20mm curved-end range and the FKM Vulcanized with Rolex Deployant. See Rolex Air-King straps until 2022 for the full 20mm catalog.

The 126900 (2022-present) added crown guards, a green seconds hand, and moved to 21mm lugs. It fits 21mm curved-end FKM in black, white, green, sky blue, yellow or red. See Rolex Air-King 126900 straps for the 21mm range.

Fitting:

• Curved-end. Standard spring bars. 20mm and 21mm Swiss Made spring bars included, sized to Rolex tolerance (Rolex bars run slightly thicker than aftermarket).
• FKM Vulcanized with Rolex Deployant (116900 only). Mounts on the factory clasp screws, no spring bars needed. Keeps the original Rolex Oyster clasp so the Oysterlock safety works as intended.

The 34mm era Air-Kings

Before the 40mm refresh in 2016, the Air-King was a 34mm watch: 5500 through 1989, 14000 and 14010 into the two thousands, and the 114200 series discontinued in 2014. All 34mm with 19mm lugs.
