Curved-end rubber straps and FKM Vulcanized for every Rolex sport reference. Submariner, GMT-Master, Daytona, Explorer and more, in colors Rolex does not produce. From €76.

Rolex rubber straps in curved-end and FKM Vulcanized

Two tiers of rubber for Rolex sport models, each for a different use.

Curved-end rubber straps from €76 cover the wider color range in the collection. The compound is softer and lighter on the wrist, and the curved-end profile mounts flush against the case of every Rolex sport reference. Black, white, grey and a wide range of colors, suitable for casual rotation and regular pool, sweat and UV exposure.

FKM Vulcanized rubber straps from €140 use the same fluoroelastomer compound Rolex chose for the factory Oysterflex bracelet. Denser material, chemically more stable, holds shape and color over years of daily wear. The right pick when the watch rarely comes off the wrist or sees frequent water and chemical exposure.

Both versions ship with standard Rolex spring bar attachment. The difference is material density and longevity, not fit.

Which Rolex rubber strap to choose

The decision between curved-end and FKM Vulcanized depends on how often you wear the watch.

For casual rotation, weekend pool days or as a second strap alongside a leather strap and a bracelet, curved-end rubber handles the use without overspending. Colors rotate regularly in the collection, and the standard rubber compound handles occasional water and sun without issue.

For the watch that lives on the wrist every day, especially in summer or near the ocean, FKM Vulcanized makes sense. The material does not yellow under UV, does not deform after months of daily wear, and the color stays consistent. Rolex does not produce a standalone rubber strap for sale outside the factory configurations, so an aftermarket FKM is the only way to get the same material family at the same level of resistance.

If the watch goes in the pool or sees saltwater more than five days a month, FKM Vulcanized pays off in shape and color retention over the life of the strap. For drier rotation, curved-end is enough.

Rolex rubber straps by model

Each Rolex sport reference has its own lug geometry. The model-specific collections filter the rubber range by compatible width and curved-end fit:

For the gold and platinum sport references that ship with Oysterflex from the factory (Daytona gold, Yacht-Master gold, Sky-Dweller gold), the FKM alternative range is in Rolex Oysterflex straps.
